Description

In some places Sweden is actually as we know it from Pippi, Michel or from Bullerbü movies. Do you still have these wonderful pictures from the Astrid-Lindgren films in your head? If Michel got stuck in the soup bowl again or Pippi Langstrump conjures lemonade from her favorite tree? All this in a picturesque summer landscape that only seems to consist of lakes, wooden cabins, woods and meadows. It's about the same in Klavreström. This place in the middle of Småland looks like a picture book. Here you can still boating, swimming and walking barefoot between red wooden houses and colorful summer meadows. Colorful holiday houses in village idyll, the forests seem endless and lakes are almost everywhere. In between are small, charming villages, farms and country cafés.

The holiday home Norrhult is located in such an idyllic place Norrhult-Klavreström. Norrhult-Klavreström lies exactly between 2 large lakes, which come here to within a few hundred meters. This holiday home is just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful Lake Norrsjön. The interesting and interesting capital of Småland, Växjö is only 40 km away.

The 85 sqm blue wooden house is newly renovated and stands on a 1000 sqm large and hilly grounds. From there you have a great view over the beautiful village Norrhult.

It is attractive, modern, but also comfortable and typically Swedish. Through the hallway you get into a cozy living room, from where you can reach one of the bedrooms, the kitchen and the cozy loft. The kitchen is located neighbor with a sun terrace, if you prefer to enjoy your coffee in the morning sun or evening sun. From the hallway you get into another bedroom and the bathroom with bathtub. All rooms are friendly and bright and equipped with windows.

This area is known for its good hiking trails, bike paths and golf courses. The nearest golf course is only 1000 meters away. This part of Småland is called the Kingdom of Crystal. Some interesting manufactories are nearby. But also "Pippis world", Lönneberga and Bullerbü are definitely worth a visit. The Baltic Sea coast with its unique archipelago and the islands Öland and Gotland should definitely have visited. In the nearby hiking areas there are canyons and caves to explore. Infos about the region Småland

No other historical province of Sweden is probably as well known as Småland. This is partly because of the immense popularity of the childrens' books of Astrid Lindgren, who allowed many of her stories to take place there, where she grew up herself. Småland has more to offer though than the idyll of Katthult…
While the vast majority of the stories in Lönneberga or the children of Noisy Village are known, few know about the highly interesting history of this historic province. This once consisted of many small areas (in Swedish: små land). They had the right on own legal systems and assemblies. This evolved into the areas differences and quirks that are still characteristic for the region: The historical Småland is now divided into five provinces Jönköping län, Kalmar län Kronoberg, Halland and Östergötlands län.
Småland is located in the southern part of Sweden, extending from the Baltic coast to the northwest by the Vättern lake. It borders to the historic provinces of Skåne and Blekinge in the south and to Östergötland, Västergötland and Halland in the north west. As different as the regions is the nature of Småland: Extensive coniferous forests interspersed with large swamps, and again there are many smaller and larger lakes. Just as we know it from the film adaptations of the childrens' books of Astrid Lindgren.
Småland is not only famous as the scene of Astrid Lindgren's stories, which can be admired at the amusement park "Astrid Lindgren's World" in Vimmerby. Småland is also known for its glass factories. In the Kingdom of Crystal (Swedish: Glasriket) around the city of Växjö you can visit the glass blowers craft in 14 active glass blowing workshops, and exhibitions of glass art invite you to admire the crafts. Other cities well worth a visit are for example Jönköping and Oskarshamn.
So visit the varied Småland and you enter into the idyllic scenery of the stories of Astrid Lindgren, in typically Scandinavian nature and the fascinating world of glass art!
