Description

One of three houses in a classic u-built Skånelänga style. "Gamla ladan" is a cozy half-timbered house of 186 sqm.

The farm is located in the countryside midway between Höganäs and Ängelholm and only 200 meters from the sea.

The ground floor includes a lovely living room open up to the ridge with fireplace and TV. A dining room with seating for 8 persons and a separate kitchen. There is also a badrumsdel with toilet, shower and separate section for brushing (with sink). Bathrooms are from the 70's with a newer shower.

Upstairs are two large bedrooms with a total of eight beds.

Green, facing east invites to lovely barbecues. Also access to common sitting areas in the courtyard.

The small road goes right by the property boundary. It has the luxury of illuminated bike path, Kattegat trail, all the way to Angelholm east and Höganäs west. By bike you make your easy to Farhult (2km) where you will find a large popular sandy beach, Jonstorp (5 km) where there are restaurants, Ängelholm (10km) with excellent boutiques and restaurants, or Höganäs (10 km) with beautiful harbor, great sandy beach, restaurants, and great outlet area. Fast, beautiful and comfortable.

Bus 225 passes outside the house and the bus stop is 200 meters from the farm.

The golf enthusiasts have eight golf clubs within 20 minutes drive.

The walk trails, Skåneleden and Kullaleden (which runs between Helsingborg - Höganäs - Mölle - Ängelholm) passes between the farm and the beach. Wonderful opportunity for both the small and the long promenade.
The farm is fantastic, right between Kulla peninsula with Kullaberg, Arild, Mölle and Höganäs at one end and Bjärehalvön in Angelholm, Torekov and Båstad in the other. Everything can be reached within 20 minutes by car.

Here are a range of activities for those who want to relax beach holiday with other excursions. Kullabygden is known for its pottery. But the most popular must still be Höganäs Ceramic / Boda Nova with his factory sales of popular household ceramics. Also visit some of the district's skilled potters in their studios. Kullaberg offers a fantastic experience of nature that the world famous guide Guide Michelin has given three stars in its book over Swedish sights.
Also nearby is the possibility of horseback riding, tennis, kanothyrning to name a few. Even skiing is offered; Hallandsåsen Vallåsen Kungsbygget 50 km away!
Bjärehalvön is known for fantastic nature experiences as Hovshallar, New Väderö (by boat from Torekov) and Norrviken.

A holiday with close to everything, a holiday for all ages and interests, a holiday you will never forget!

Infos about the region Skåne

Skåne, in English known as "Scania", is the southernmost historical province of Sweden and consists of 33 municipalities. The residence is in Malmö, the third largest city of the country.
Due to its mostly flat and slightly hilly topography and the nutrient-rich soils, Skåne is also known as the granary of Sweden. Here 30% of Swedish agricultural needs are covered. The north-east of the province is characterized by wooded hills, typical for Sweden out of gneiss and granite rocks. Skåne has though more to offer more than farmland and rocks: there is at the southern end of the peninsula 400 km of coastline with white sandy beaches, which in every season - but of course, especially in summer – are popular. The sprawling landscape is also a mecca for golfers and within an hour drive you can reach about 70 golf courses. Walkers will enjoy the many hiking trails and skiers will find a great place for their hobby in the area Hallandsåsen. In the snow-free season Hallandsåsen is a popular recreation area, with opportunities to indulge your hobbies.
The history of Scania is still clearly visible. Since it belonged to Denmark until 1658, the dialect spoken in Skåne has many features of the Danish. Likewise, there are still about 200 castles and manor houses in Skåne, many of which are also open to visitors, and the only purely Romanesque church building in Scandinavia, the Lund Cathedral, is located in Skåne.
Today, the province is well known due to the crime novels about Kurt Wallander of author Henning Mankell. They are mostly set in the vicinity of Ystad, a beautiful old town in the southeast with many half-timbered houses.
Welcome to Skåne: An exciting blend of old and new, of urbanity and nature, with short distance to many possibilities.
