In the heart of Sörmland close to Flen and surrounded beo forrests and meadows

you will find this up-to-date holiday home a little bit outside of Flen, only a few hundred meters away from the lake "Båven“ (you have to cross a road and railroadtracks first). A boat is available to you there, so that you can test the fishing grounds of the Båven, which are rich in fish.
The holiday home has an all year round standard, and together with a guest hut it is located at a lovely property of about 3000 square meters. The house has only one floor and comprises a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen as well as bathroom with shower and WC. A large glazed terrace belongs to it.
Flen is surrounded by a lot of beautiful lakes and the typical Sörmland scenery, which attract many visitors every year.
In case you want to escape from this idyll and peace of Sörmland, a day trip to the capital Stockholm, which is about 100 kilometers away, would certainly be an interesting alternative.

Infos about the region Södermanland

The province borders in the south to Östergötland, in the west to Närke, in the northwest to Västmanland, in the northeast to Uppland and in the east and southeast to the Baltic Sea.
The capital Stockholm is situated partly in Södermanland. The second part is located in Uppland. Traditionally, the line between the two provinces is drawn in the water between the old town and the district of Södermalm in central Stockholm.
Södermanland, popularly known as Sörmland, refers to the land south of the lake Mälaren. Like Uppland in the north, the province has numerous ancient remains (nearly 100,000) and a large population that approximately amounts to 1.1 million people.
The province is dominated by lowland and wooded hills, and of the many lakes. So it is a typical flat landscape; Södermanland is nowhere more than 200 meters above sea level.
The characteristic landscape type is formed by a combination of faults that mainly go in the direction from the east to the west, and large river valleys. Through these faults the land sunk from the south to the north, so that the crack along the fault on the north side was lowered, while the south remained.
Södermanland is also the center of the Swedish nobility with a variety of mansions.
Just as Södermanland, Uppland has a fantastic archipelago, both the part called the Stockholm Archipelago (east of Södermanland's Södertörn peninsula) and the one outside the coast of Södermanland.
