A beautiful farm house on the edge of Dalsland's canal.

This nice holiday home is located high on the Dalsland canal overlooking the canal 40m from the water.

Here you can find peace of mind in a unique setting with historical records dating back to the 18th century. The property has landmarks that refer to Spången's shipyard. A shipyard in which 19th century ships were built, which transported Dalsland's canal. The farm's location allows for a single stay in a tranquil setting with access to the own boat bridge.

There are grazing animals around the property that keep the landscape open. Köpmannebro is outstandingly beautifully located between several big lakes. Large fish stocks are in the area and the vicinity of Lake Vänern makes it possible for further excursions on Sweden's largest lake and a stunning archipelago.

The holiday house consists of 2 floors with an area of 125 m2. There is a kitchen and laundry room with all amenities.

Infos about the region Dalsland

Dalsland is a relatively small province whose extent from the north to south measures 99 km and from east to west 59 km. It is located in western Sweden, with only one place that might be described as a city: Åmal, even though the population doesn't quite match up to the required 10 000 people that the Swedish Board of Statistics (SCB) calls for.
It is believed that Dalsland belonged to Norway until about the year 1000 AD, but this is not sure. However, the region is popular among our neighbors in the west!
Despite its size, the landscape is sometimes referred to as a "Sweden in miniature", then it has a highly variable nature. The province's largest lake is Lake Vänern. The Dalslands channel is a channel that allows boat traffic between Lake Vänern and parts of the lake system in Dalslands interior and southwestern of Värmland. The channel crosses the famous aqueduct in Håverud and is in the summer (season June-August) a much visited tourist destination, both for sailing boats, motor boats and canoes.
